Fring has brought its native VoIP application to the iPhone. There were certain VOIP services earlier such as Soonr. But these were not native and had to be accessed through Safari.
The free application will work on any jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch. Along with Fring’s own VoIP service it integrates Skype, GoogleTalk, MSN Messenger, ICQ and SIP (for voice and chat) plus Twitter, Yahoo and AIM.
One can now make potentially unlimited/very cheap international VOIP calls on the go using Skype/SkypeOUT or another SIP service.
Support for iPhone firmware 2.x is not yet available.

“Airsnarf: Rogue Squadron” is a proof-of-concept rogue AP firmware for the Linksys WRT54G, based on the Ewrt firmware v0.3 beta 1 by Portless Networks, which is based on the Linksys 3.01.3 codebase. With this firmware you can quickly turn a Linksys WRT54G into a rogue access point that “authenticates” users and “provides” Internet access.
Download the Airsnarf Rogue Squadron v0.1 firmware for the Linksys WRT54G HERE. The password for the SSH server is “airsnarf”, without the quotes.
Download the files modified from the Ewrt v0.3 beta 1 source that make Airsnarf Rogue Squadron what it is HERE.
